Product Description

The Gordons had their Scottish origin in the Berwickshire lands of Gordon. Here, as a Norman family, they became settled under David I and retained estates for three centuries. The earliest recording of the name comes from 1150 when Richard, Baron of Gordon, granted lands to the monks of St. Mary. The name Huntly is also used to refer to Gordons, due to their ownership of Castle Huntley. Sir Adam de Gordon was one of the ambassadors who conveyed to the Pope the 1320 Declaration of National Independence.

Highland Clan Flags are intended for indoor or outdoor use. The flags are made from 70 denier high tenacity nylon, chosen for durability and ability to meet our exacting color standards. A rigourous process ensures colours are locked in for long use, and all edges are double stitched for added strength.

Our clan flags are packaged in robust, clear plastic sleeves that both display and protect the contents - perfect for gifts!

Each package includes a fine printed scroll offering an outline of your Clan's history.
