Before 1965, the official flag of Canada was the Union Jack (properly called the Union Flag). Between 1892 and 1965, variations of the Canadian Red Ensigns were authorized by the British authorities and by 1922 it had become the de facto flag of Canada.

IMPORTANT: Canadian Red, Blue, and White Ensigns, as well as Royal Canadian Air Force Ensigns can be purchased by the public.

Canadian Forces Ensign, Air Command, Army Flag, Naval Jack, and Coast Guard Jack can only be purchased by the current military personnel on behalf of their units, regiments, etc. (not available to the general public). Proper ID is required for purchase. Please contact us for more info.
