Product Description
Please note that the 27"x54" flag design is temporarily sold out. We expect to restock in 2021.
The Macleans are considered to be descendants of Gillean-na-Tuardhe (1249-1286), also know as ‘Gillean of the Battleaxe’, for his prowess in wielding that fierce weapon at the Battle of Largs in 1263 against King Haakon IV of Norway. Some evidence suggests that the clan origins are Norman and go back to when William the Conqueror came to Britain in 1066.
Highland Clan Flags are intended for indoor or outdoor use. The flags are made from 70 denier high tenacity nylon, chosen for durability and ability to meet our exacting color standards. A rigourous process ensures colours are locked in for long use, and all edges are double stitched for added strength.
Our clan flags are packaged in robust, clear plastic sleeves that both display and protect the contents - perfect for gifts!
Each package includes a fine printed scroll offering an outline of your Clan's history.
